Great Events, Deep Meanings
This course focuses on some of the most significant days in the Christian year and considers their implications for us as individual believers and Christian communities. With 6 sessions, this course also lends itself to being divided into two 3-part courses e.g. for churches looking for an Advent course.

6 sessions:
1. Christmas
2. Ash Wednesday
3. Palm Sunday
4. Good Friday
5. Easter
6. Pentecost

The course booklet, written by Canon John Young, includes questions aimed at provoking wide-ranging discussion. Each group needs 1 CD or audiotape, plus a course booklet for each member. In addition many groups find the transcript invaluable. 

The participants on the CD/audiotape are Revd Dr John Polkinghorne, Gordon Wilson, Bishop David Konstant, Dame Cicely Saunders and Fiona Castle. Revd Brian Hoare introduces the course and Canon John Young provides the Closing Reflections.
