Faith is under fire today as never before, and it is often assumed that faith is outdated. This 5-part course helps us wrestle with what it means to believe in God in the twenty-first century.
5 sessions:
1. Faith facing Facts
2. Faith facing Doubt
3. Faith facing Disaster
4. Faith fuelling Prayer
5. Faith fuelling Action
The course booklet, written by Canon John Young, includes questions aimed at provoking wide-ranging discussion. Each group needs 1 CD or audiotape, plus a course booklet for each member. In addition many groups find the transcript booklet invaluable.
The participants on the CD/audiotape are Steve Chalke, Rabbi Lionel Blue, Leslie Griffiths and Ann Widdecombe. Former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey introduces the course and Dr David Hope provides the Closing Reflections.
